Testimony:

Being from a Christian home, I was very familiar with Jesus and my parents always made sure He was a part of our daily lives. Even though I asked Him to be my Savior at the age of six, I didn’t begin to really grow in my relationship with Christ until I was thirteen. My desires to get to know Him grew and I began to spend more and more time in the Scriptures. Through the years, a passion to tell others about Christ’s love grew stronger, and being a missionary become a more Interesting to me. Going back to Vietnam has always been something that I wanted to, but being a missionary to the Vietnamese people wasn’t really something that I thought I could do.

We first heard of BMW (Bible, Missionary, and Work) from some friends of ours who helped us get connected to Teen Missions in 2009. I went on a summer trip that year and was amazed at the love I saw in the Teen Mission’s staff and BMW students. God really opened my heart that summer to see how much people are hurting and how much they needed God.

I am so thankful that God has brought me here even if it took two years for Him to get it through my head. I’m so excited that I am able to be a part of something that God is using in such amazing ways. I look forward to these three years and falling in love with God more and more as I get to know Him and serve Him here at BMW.
