Testimony:
I was born in 1986 in Orange Walk town, Belize C.A. I am the third eldest of 6 brothers. We never had to much or to little. God always provided for my family. My dad was the kind of man who could fix anything and my mom, for some parts of my life, was a house wife. They would send us to church every Sunday. This happened for some time. Then our pastor, Marvin Suyen, started to visit our home and soon convinced my parents to get married.
Both my parents started going to church when one of the pastors was preaching a sermon about running the race and winning the big one, and I can still remember when he brought this trophy out and explained how it was a prize that could easily be destroyed. After that he said that God will give us a prize that would last forever. He made and alter call; that day I came to know Christ and started my relationship with Him.
I soon turned thirteen and joined the youth group called the Young Ambassadors for Christ. This is where I first found out about missions. My mom had gone to these youth camps when she was a kid and figured that we should go and the church paid for me to go. When I went there I had a sudden change of heart. I got a heart for missions. When I finished middle school I, God stared to give me opportunity to meet missionaries form all over. Here was something I could do to save lives and be happy and it was not something I was doing for men but for the Lord.
In 2004 I was working to make money to go back to school. After that day of work, I met a Teen Mission Team. I saw what they were doing and I said to myself, ‘I would like to do that some day’. So I prayed about it. The following year, they visited my church and started to talk about Teen Missions in Belize, and in 2006 I went to the Lord Boot Camp where I made a commitment to do full time Christan ministry. I volunteered in the Summers of 2007, 2008 and 2009. I was waiting for the Bible school to start in Belize, but God had His own plan; He began to open up doors for me to come and do BMW here in Florida. He helped me with finances and gave me everything I needed to be a student. I have grown so much since I have been here, and I am so thankful that God has led me here.
