-For my team this summer to Cameroon: health, safety, protection and that many will come to Christ.
Testimony: Since a young age, I have wanted to be a missionary. I knew that when I grew up, I was some how going to tell others about Christ. God has shown me that this is where He wants me. I came on my first TMI team in 2002. I was a little 11 year old boy ready to win souls for Jesus. But I had a lot to learn about what it means to truly serve God. After my first summer, I wanted to come back right way; however, I would not come back to Teen Missions for six years. Between those six years, I was able to go to Romania and China; both trips taught me a lot about myself and serving God. Between that time, I got a job at a restaurant. This job was the building stone for the next couple of years. Working in the work force was hard. At times it was not fun and I did not like it one bit. I soon learned many life lessons; things that would help we go through life. In the fall of 2007, I was reading the TMI brochure I saw Siberia and I knew that was where God wanted me to go. That summer changed my life my call to missions was reinstated. I came back on fire and ready to be a missionary. Soon after coming home, I slipped back into old habits and was not sure what to do with my life. Then I got a letter from TMI asking me to come be a leader; I chose to go on the Ecuador Preteen Team. While getting ready for the trip I knew I was going to come to BMW. I started the paper work in December, and by April I was accepted to come to the Fall 2009 term. I am now halfway done with my 5th term and have loved being at BMW. Some days can be hard, but over all I am growing and feeling very blessed to be here. I look forward to next year and to all that God is going to show me and the growth that I will have.
