Testimony: For a long time, being a Christian was just some thing that I did on Sundays. That was until I went with Teen Missions to Ireland in 2008. God showed me many things and I began to take my relationship with Christ more seriously, at least for awhile. The next summer I decided to go again with Teen Missions, but this time to Haiti. I wanted more of a challenge and that is exactly what I got. Not only was Haiti physically challenging but it was also challenging spiritually. That summer I realized just how much hate and cynicism I had built up in my heart and I acknowledged it; but instead of changing it and giving it to God I kept it inside. I came back with a a very bad heart and a will to never go back to Teen Missions. It was not until 3 months later when all my leaders sent me a sort of care package with a DVD from the summer. I watched that video and i realized how much my leaders had truly loved me and sacrificed for me. I once again saw the darkness within myself, but this time I addressed it and gave it over to God. A couple months or so I decided to go with Teen Missions to Zambia on the motorcycle team. It was there I felt my calling to go to BMW. For a long time though I struggled with the decision to come to BMW. I was stuck deciding if I wanted to do my own thing or to go where God was leading me and I felt a definite pull. After many months of indecisiveness and a lot of pro and con lists, I decided to come. I can honestly say I am exactly where God wants me and I have never made a better decision in my entire life.
