Personal Testimony:  This is my personal testimony on how I became to be a Christian, as I am today. It all started back when I was 8 years old, and all my life,  I was in church being a good little Christian boy. Then one Sunday, when I was in Sunday School, I heard that you can be saved and go to Heaven, and see God. One of the verses my teacher read was Romans 5:8,  ”But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” So on that Sunday I wanted to get saved and become a Christian. I was born again on that day.

As I grew up in the world, I grew up out of being little old Christian boy and became a man in the church. In that, I grow up to know that its not all about me, but its about all the other people in the world and if there saved and know God or not.  So I started thinking what God wanted in my life. As I looked at my life, I tried to see what God wanted for me. I seen that He was wanting me to go into the missions field. Then as I looked at how I was living now, I seen that I needed to grow in God more. I needed to make God my rock, and become a man of God.  I did grow, and I came to know a verse that helped me through the hard times. Psalm 62:1-2, “My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.” That and other verses have helped me to grow into the man God wants me to be. This is my testimony of how I became a Christian.
