Personal Testimony:
Hi! My name is Cassidy Baxter and I am a BMW student. Well, I’m taking a whole new lead in my life. God is going first! I have known ever since I was in the 8th grade, I was called to be a missionary. I have always rebelled and just thought I was not good enough. I have finally come to the conclusion that really none of us are. We are not perfect. I finally understood that it is time to let go of the past and look towards the future. I cannot change the past, all I can do is just strive daily to be the best me I can possibly be! God is great! He will always be there for you – believe me! God is the cure for everything. There is nothing He cannot do!
I am so honored to be called to work for Him. I am so excited for what God has in store for me. I know great things are fixing to happen in my life. Since I have fully committed to serving as a missionary for Him, I have had many temptations occur. But I know it is the enemy just trying his best to change my mind! But he better back up because nothing is stopping me from doing what God wants me to do! Oh I am pumped! You have no clue how much! I also want to say that choose your friends wisely because they are you! I never knew how true that was until about a year ago. But most of all God loves you!! Never forget that!! No matter how much you are hurting or what you have done…God will still be by your side! He never lets us down and never breaks a promise! I do not know about you but I hate broken promises! There is nothing I can possibly do to make God love me more. There is nothing I can do to make God love me less. God’s love is unconditional.
My life has had its ups and downs just like everyone. Life here on earth will never be perfect. But look at it this way… Our life here on earth will seem so short compared to eternity. Just bare with it because there soon will come a day where we will live in a judge-free world and that’s Heaven! If you are not saved, you really should look into it because if you think life here on earth is bad, that is nothing compared to eternity in Hell! Heaven and Hell are real. I am asking you to get close with God. Give Him your heart and you will never regret it!
My relationship with God means the world to me now. I know I need Him to survive. He has really turned my life around. Yes, I might complain a bit, but in the end it is worth it. This past summer on a team made me have to depend on God because that’s all I had. God can do miracles. I am a miracle. Who would imagine that I would be in Bible College? Not me, that is for sure. It is God. God has turned my life around completely and leading me in a direction that can be frightening at times. But I know, He is going to take care of me and He knows what I am capable of doing. I love being a BMW student. It really keeps me from being distracted and keeps my focus on God. God is good, all the time. He has never let me down. I am not the same Cassidy, that I was a year ago. I am not perfect, not even close but striving daily to be the best me I can possibly be. To God be the Glory!
